After twelve years of working side by side with Highland Recruitment’s founding director—Lynn Watson—Margherita has taken on the mantle of director.
A trusted and well-respected recruiter, Margherita is passionate about helping local businesses find the right staff; she has a reputation for always going the extra mile to source the best person for the role.
Boasting more than 25 years’ experience in the industry, recruiting in a range of roles—from junior clerical through to senior management—Margherita’s career in recruitment began with the Adecco Group, where she recruited for Qantas, the Commonwealth Bank, Optus, AMP and other major players.
After moving into financial recruitment, Margherita was selected by Robert Half International—the largest financial recruiter worldwide—to launch their Australian division.
Margherita is proud and excited to be at the helm of Highland Recruitment, steering it through its next era.

Belinda Cartwright
Recruitment Consultant
Belinda has a background in Learning and Development, Sales, Travel and Customer Service. She holds a Masters in Adult Education in Human Resources Development and started her own training company, delivering staff training to government and corporate clients. She joined our team in 2017.

Alison Edmonds
Recruitment consultant
Alison’s background is in generalist Human Resources and internal Recruitment within the Technology and Sports sectors. She holds a Degree in Business majoring in Human Resources Management. Recruitment has always been a passion of Alison’s and in 2021 she made the exciting leap from Human Resources to the Recruitment industry.

Rebecca Irvine
Administration
An experienced administrative manager with a background in legal services, Rebecca joined the team in 2012. She oversees the administration of Highland Recruitment’s temporary and permanent candidates, ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with swiftly and professionally.

Geraldine Arnold
Bookkeeping/Accounts
With over 15 years’ experience in accounting and taxation, Geraldine has a strong back ground working in public practice and with small businesses. Having Geraldine onboard means the rest of the team can focus on clients and candidates, leaving the number crunching in her capable hands.
